Diane Fromage

I am currently a Professor of European Law at the University of Salzburg, where I am also a Deputy-Director of the Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS).

I was previously a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at Sciences Po Paris (Law School, IMPACTEBU Project), an Assistant Professor of European Law at Maastricht University and at Utrecht University, and a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow in Law at the European University Institute of Florence, Italy. I obtained my PhD in November 2013 from the Universities of Pavia (Italy) and Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). 

My research focuses on the Economic and Monetary Union and especially the Banking Union, as well as on Parliaments in the EU. Generally, EU Institutional matters and Comparative constitutional law are of my interest.
